*I was given an advanced copy of this book for reviewing purposes.*
Single and Ready to Jingle by Piper Rayne is the first Christmas romance stories that I’ve planned to review over the next month. This story follows Kenzie, a Christmas obsessed event planner, and Andrew, an eternal scrooge who also happens to be her older brother’s best friend.
Initial Thoughts
If your blind date showed up wearing a full on elf costume, what would you do? You can’t blame Andrew for immediately wanting to escape. Especially he realizes that Kenzie is his best friend’s little sister. But when the party planner for the company’s Christmas party quits, he immediately recommends Kenzie for the job.
When Andrew immediately wrote Kenzie off and was a total you-know-what during their date, I was eager to see how Piper Rayne would get me to actually like this British lawyer (though being British already won him some points in my book). But I didn’t just learn to ‘like’ him. Just like Kenzie, I quickly learned that his reaction on their date wasn’t indicative of who he really is.
Final Thoughts on Single and Ready to Jingle
Overall, I really enjoyed Single and Ready to Jingle. It was a sweet story with a couple of twists, but still ended happily.
One thing that I didn’t expect was the actual reason for Andrew’s hatred of the holidays. It wasn’t as shocking as I had begun to expect. What did I expect? I couldn’t tell you. So, don’t let that little thought discourage you from reading this holiday romance.

Will you be reading Piper Rayne’s newest book this year? If you’re looking for a super sweet, easy read to jumpstart your holiday season, this is the book for you!
