I love this post! I am stoked that yesterday was the first day of summer and these quotes put me even more in the mood for this wonderful time of year. My favorite quote was the second quote. I appreciate the symbolism in it, how it essentially seems to be saying that we need the hard times in order to enjoy the good times. Thanks for sharing this!

Absolutely- that second quote is so powerful. It’s true in so many ways- I hate the summer, but sitting in this heat now makes me so grateful for the fact that I live where we get very distinct seasons. Or owning a pet- you know someday you will say goodbye, but it makes the time you do have together a million times more precious.
