Merry Christmas Eve! For today’s post I’m playing This or That- Christmas Edition! This is a great game or conversation starter that you too can use today and tomorrow. Would you rather attend a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert or go to a performance of The Nutcracker?
A performance of The Nutcracker. I danced growing up, and was in a couple of productions of The Nutcracker. And one year my parents took me to see a performance of it. I loved it. Even on its own, I just love the music. It’s so pretty, especially the second act, which is the more well-known pieces.
Would you rather do a white elephant gift exchange or do a secret Santa gift exchange?
Secret Santa. I think it’s just more fun. And, white elephant exchanges just seem mean and awkward. The Christmas episode of The Office when they do the white elephant exchange is a perfect example of one. There’s just nothing fun about them.
Wrap Christmas presents for 8 hours or help children take pictures with Santa at the Mall?
Wrap Christmas presents for 8 hours. There is no way I could deal with the mall photos. Not even because of the screaming and crying children. The parents would be a nightmare. It’d be like one Karen, after another, after another, all extra caffeinated and demanding. And if something doesn’t go how they want it, obviously it’s your fault and their holiday is now “ruined.” (Can you tell I worked in retail for 15 years? I’ll never recover from that!)
Would you rather eat Christmas cookies for 6 months or candy canes for 6 months?
Christmas cookies for 6 months. I do not like peppermint, so candy canes are a huge no no for me. But cookies…. I could do them!
Would you rather celebrate Christmas at Hogwarts or Christmas with the Peanuts gang on Charlie Brown?
Hogwarts! Sorry Peanuts gang. Both options would be fun, but Hogwarts is just way more appealing.
